Ongoing Projects

Pathfinder will send a team of 7 or 8 to Uganda this coming summer to visit partnering schools, programs and orphanages. We are currently in the process of collecting used equipment and necessary travel supplies.

We’d love your help getting the team ready to go. For more info, visit our Make A Donation page.

Pathfinder is specifically raising funds to mail and transport equipment from the U.S. to Uganda.

Pathfinder

Welcome to PathfinderHockey.org!

Pathfinder Hockey runs camps, clinics and tournaments for middle- and high-school students to grow and improve field hockey in the United States, using a portion of the proceeds to support education and hockey development in Uganda.

In the U.S. and abroad, Pathfinder approaches hockey as a means to build relationships that stretch beyond life’s circumstances with the hope of giving young players an opportunity to share in the joy of sports and to find the narrow path that leads to life in Jesus Christ.

Why Pathfinder?

So many people want to take the easy road; they want a quick fix. Pathfinder hockey is about getting off the wide path and finding the narrow one. It is about taking the scenic route instead of the interstate. It is about investing more in other people than in yourself. It is about being bold and standing true to your convictions even if it is not popular. It is about equipping others to pursue life on a road less traveled. And most importantly, it is about Matthew 7:14 which reads: "For the gate is small and the path is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."       - Jodi Murphy, Founder and President of Pathfinder Hockey.
